The Walt Disney World Resort is home to some iconic snack options that Guests absolutely love to indulge in on every single vacation. Snacks like the Mickey Pretzel, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, Dole Whip from Aloha Isle, and Lunch Box Tarts from Woody’s Lunch Box have become beloved over time and are well known, but those who only enjoy popular snacks are missing out. There are plenty of underrated snacks that are often overlooked by Guests throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that pack some bold and delicious flavors with everything from salty to sweet.

Let’s check out some amazing, underrated options and get snacking!

The Italy Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to several amazing dining options, including the quick-service Gelateria Toscana, which serves up creamy and delicious gelato throughout each day. In addition to the gelato, Guests can indulge in hot and fresh Zeppole, pockets of fried dough stuffed with ricotta which are then smothered in powdered sugar for the ultimate snack.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom serves up some amazing snacks that Guests love, including the Grilled Corn on the Cob from the Harambe Fruit Market, but an underrated savory option can be found at Mr. Kamal’s. This quick service stand is housed in a small building and features flavorful seasoned fries that Guests can customize with complimentary dips including traditional ketchup, tandoori honey mustard, saffron aioli, and spicy honey ketchup.

The Main Street Confectionery on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom is the number one spot in the Disney Park to head to for sweet and delicious treats and baked goods of all sorts, but many overlook a unique custom option. Every Guest has enjoyed the iconic School Bread from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion at some point, but the charming quick-service bakery also serves up another underrated snack that shouldn’t be missed. The Norwegian Kringla is a traditional soft pretzel that is plant-based and can be topped with either almonds or chocolate for the perfect warm and comforting bite with a touch of sweetness.

The Echo Lake area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to several wonderful experiences, as well as a quick-service location that is often overlooked as Guests continue through the Disney Park. Dockside Diner is a small restaurant housed inside a boat docked on Echo Lake that serves up savory and delicious Smoked Fish Dip, bursting with flavor and accompanied by seasoned house-made chips, celery, carrots, jalapeños, and pickles for dipping. It’s also perfect for sharing if you want a snack that’s not too big!

A truly decadent snack that is so filling it could be considered a small meal can be found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Eight Spoon Café, a standalone quick-service location on Discovery Island. The Pulled Pork – Jelly Doughnut Sandwich tops a fresh doughnut filled with sweet jelly with a heaping scoop of savory pulled pork and crunchy slaw for a hearty and unforgettable combination of flavors in every bite.

Pongu Pongu is another quick-service dining location in the Pandora – The World of Avatar area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom that is well known for its brightly colored beverages and the Pongu Lumpia snack. Those who stop by in the mornings can also grab the French Toast Sticks, a perfect breakfast snack served warm and with a side of maple syrup for dipping on the go.

Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is beloved by many Guests who love to indulge in the fresh waffles and funnel cakes served throughout each day that can be enjoyed while gazing at Cinderella Castle, but the location also features a savory delight that shouldn’t be missed. The Hand-dipped Corn Dog is a hot dog that has been perfectly smothered in dough and fried before being served up hot with a side of crunchy house-made chips.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an incredibly immersive area that brings Guests to the Black Spire Outpost complete with several delicious dining options including the popular Ronto Roasters. This quick-service location focuses on delicious roasted meat dishes like the Ronto Wrap and Guests shouldn’t miss out on the Kyryll Pork Rinds which are seasoned with a blend of ancho chile, cheddar, smoke, and cinnamon for a sweet and savory bite.

Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland is home to the iconic Warm Cinnamon Roll, which Guests can enjoy throughout each day in the Disney Park while checking out all of the many decorations that Gaston has chosen (including antlers, of course). While the Warm Cinnamon Roll is delicious, Guests shouldn’t miss out on LeFou’s Brew, which features frozen apple juice with toasted marshmallow flavor topped with a passion fruit-mango foam.

The final underrated snack that shouldn’t be missed by Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort can be found at Satu’li Canteen, a popular quic-service location in Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Guests can customize their own delicious bowl options. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is a vibrant blue color with beautiful plating that is accompanied by a tangy passion fruit curd that Guests are sure to love.
